the isle's influences,
The architecture on Fincayra is reminiscent to the industrial era (also known as Victorian Era) of Great Britain - even before Great Britain had reached that point itself. Being more technologically advanced than the rest of the world, the Isle of Fincayra houses many different cities with varying styles of culture and influence; with only a few cities breaking the style of architecture. Below are a list of the current cities and their style of architecture, as well as any notable mentions. A great railroad travels between all of these cities, powered by steam. It is the only mode of transportation to get from one city to the next other than walking or flying. Besides, train rides can often lead you toHogwartsamazing places.CEFNYSTRAD
The city of Cefnystrad is the capital city of Fincayra, and majority of its inhabitants are primarily from Great Britain. They are ruled over by the Herriott family, and are a haughty folk. Most families and inhabitants of the city are Pure-blood, and view newcomers as a threat to the safety of their steadily growing isle. They are not reasoned with easily in debate, simply actions, and may require others to perform difficult tasks for them in order to win their trust. Truthfully, this is mainly only the scars of the war rearing its ugly face. Due to its inhabitants being from Great Britain, most of its culture, speech, mannerisms, and architecture resemble that of industrial era London.
AFONCROES
Located at the far western point of the isle surrounded by many beautiful grass hills, with a stunning river flowing through the center is the city of Afoncroes. Many of its inhabitants hail from western europe - particularly Spain, France, Italy, and Germany. There is no ruling family in this city, as many of the people simply manage themselves in a democratic manner. However, it holds a strong dislike and rivalry with Cefnystrad due to the peoples haughty personalities. The city of Afoncroes is a place to go for festivities and love for food and culture, and its architecture is more 'Gothic' due to its French influence. It is easy to become friends with someone raised or living in Afoncroes, as they all believe in order to survive you must help each other as you'd like to be helped.
RHOSLLANNERCH
Boasting a middle eastern influence, Rhosllannerch is of Arabic architecture with some Byzantine and Germanic Visigoth. There aren't many inhabitants in this city however due to its humidity and rocky, mountainous geography, except a few prominent small families who have gotten used to the desert life. Despite this they have been able to be recognized as a considerable ally to either of the city states within Fincayra, though tends to stay neutral in any of the conflict that may occur. In many times that Cefnystrad and Afoncroes butt heads with each other, Rhosllannerch steps in as a mediator and settles the disputes in effort to keep the isle together, as they never know when another blight may occur and the only way to assure victory is by team work.
HAFNABER
The city of Hafnaber is predominately Asian, with the largest population being Chinese and Indian. It is the largest city in the isle, however still not the capital due to its rather barbaric state. None of the varying ethnicity connect in unity, and many of its families despise one another. Death consistently occurs here, and due to its anarchic state and need to one up each other, the city finds itself under attack consistently from magical creatures, as well as flesh eaters. It is located at the eastern southern point of the isle, and surrounded by beautiful grass plains, flowing rivers, and amazing gardens and ravines.
