There are three blood statuses in Fincayra, and they are very easy to understand. Firstly, there are those of Pure-blood whom are simply called thus; Pure-bloods. They are the witches and wizards who came to Fincayra along with Merlin years ago, and kept the island safe from the invasion of the flesh eaters and their blight upon their land. Majority of these witches and wizards hailed from Great Britain, which causes them to often look down on other Pure-bloods or lesser that hail from any other country.
Secondly, there are Half-bloods, which are really just Pure-bloods who decided that they wanted to marry the last status - Bloodless. The Bloodless are what Pure-bloods call new age witches and wizards who arrive to Fincayra without the help of Merlin, or who simply were not born on the isle. Bloodless are often treated as second to third class citizens, and though there is no government in control of the isle at the time, many families unify against Bloodless to throw their weight around and make their lives overall difficult. However, some Pure-blood families are accepting to Bloodless and will often assist them in understanding their newfound magical power.
notice Bloodless wizards and witches were not born on Fincayra, as stated. They come from all around the world, leaving home for whatever reason they so believe. The mists of Fincayra opens up to them after they've traveled some time and figured out that they contain something special, the ability to perform magical feats; and they begin their lives on Fincayra anew. Most Bloodless hate Pure-bloods, however.
However, there is also a blood status that really isn't counted as one exactly. Creatures are what the wizards and witches of Fincayra call any humanoid being that cannot perform magic - such as elves, dwarves, vampires, and any other sort of humanoid being. Most of the witches and wizards tend to be okay in co-existing with creatures, so long as the creatures stay in their little villages outside their cities. For those creatures who do manage to make it big and live in a city, they're often treated with great contempt by pure-bloods, and some suspicion by half-bloods whom are frightened by vampires.
